NIDO Canada – People, passion and a will to change the future

Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) is a non-profit organization that draws resources from the synergy of all Nigerian Professionals in the Diaspora, to instil ethical consciousness and civic responsibility that will enhance the socio-economic advancement of Nigerians and humanity in general.

NIDO’s current focus is on professional networking, social advocacy, education, healthcare, technological and economic empowerment, as well as skills and cultural exchange projects in their country of residence and in Nigeria. In Canada, NIDO has six Chapters of various classifications, with more expected to come on board in 2009.

NIDO is recognized by the Nigerian government as the umbrella organization for all Nigerians around the world and as a vanguard of Nigeria in the international community to promote Nigeria’s image abroad. NIDO also assists in promoting Nigeria as an investment destination in Africa.

NIDO embraces and co-operates with many other NIgerian organisations and associations abroad.
