NIDO CALGARY ELECTIONS: MARCH 19, 2011

Nominations now Open!

Nominations for NIDO-Calgary Election 2011 is now open. Registered Members should please  download the NIDO_2011_Election_Nomination_Form.pdf nomination form.

Please forward nomination forms to the Chairman of the Elections Committee or any of the committee members by email , fax or deliver it by hand.

1. 1.Deadline for submission of nomination to the committee is: March 10, 2011.
   

2. 2.Nomination form should be signed by the sponsor/nominator. 
   

3. 3.Names of the nominees will be tabulated by positions and sent to all the members by March 12, 2011.
   

4. 4.Election date is: March 19, 2011.

It is official! The NIDO Canada Calgary Chapter Inauguration Ceremony with the theme: Leveraging Talents and Skills for Nation Building was a very successful event, with over 200 Nigerian professionals with their families and friends in attendance at the Greenwood Inn and Suites, NE Calgary, Alberta.

Dr Ola Kassim and Dr Ruky Ugwumba read the official citation to inaugurate the chapter.

After the introduction by Dr. Ogunariwo, Dr Ola Kassim made presentations of Excellence Awards to two deserving individuals of the chapter, Dr. Samuel Oluwadairo, MB: BS, MSC, FRCPC; and Ayodeji A. Jeje, Ph.D. (M.I.T.), P.Eng., a professor of chemical engineering the University of Calgary, Alberta.

Also in attendance was a contingent of the budding Edmonton Chapter.
