Canada Region of NIDO Americas cordially invite you to join us to its 1st Annual Nigeria-Canada Conference which has been organized in response to the call from the Nigerian government to Nigerians in Diaspora to assist in the social and economic development of the country by harnessing their global connections and experiences. The theme for this year’s conference is “Partnership for Social and Economic Development in Nigeria ".
This one-day Nigeria-Canada Conference 2008 is a platform for meeting and exchange of ideas between professional/business Nigerians and Canadians from diverse backgrounds and budding entrepreneurs. It will provide interactive sessions and networking opportunities that are aimed at stimulating business interests in Nigeria. This Nigeria-Canada Conference has had tremendous impact on its past participants and will continue to attract individuals, Governments Officials, Corporations, businesses, among others on an annual basis.
This event which will take place on Saturday April 26th, 2008 at the Renaissance Hotel, Toronto, Canada will showcase individual addresses, panel discussions by Nigerian and Canadian experts, and an audience question and answer session in the following areas: Election reform, transparency in government, crime prevention, education, social needs and family issues.
In addition, NIDO Americas Canada Region will be honouring one of its members the Nigerian Canadian Achievement Award as a recognition of a significant contribution to the organization.
