NIDO MEMBERSHIP

Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) was established by Nigerian Professionals in the Diaspora in response to the call by the Nigerian President that adequate information on Nigerians abroad is required to enhance networking, empower their communities economically. and socio-politically, and to develop a database of Nigerian expertise available to contribute to Nigerian nation building. Nigerian Government, corporate bodies, other agencies, and its members currently support NIDO. The Government will interact with Nigerian groups through NIDO. NIDO furnishes a legitimate supporting platform for Nigerians in the Diaspora or their business associates to execute specific developmental programs with Municipal, State and Federal Government agencies as well as private sector and educational institutions in Nigeria. Specific benefits of NIDO membership include:

*Networking with other quality Nigerian Professionals in the Americas/Caribbean.

*Opportunity to market your expertise to Government and private sectors in Nigeria.

* Attendance of conferences and conventions on Nigerian development.

*Listing in Who Is Who among Nigerian Professionals in the Diaspora publication. *Information on National ID program, voting privileges in National elections, Nigerian passports, visa et cetera.
